A nap would be of great relief, though, unattainable. For whenever I closed my eyes, I was greeted by Daniel's eyes as he suffered. I prayed for the best. He knew the worst was coming. His throat was thick with a virulent infection. He struggled to speak. "Martha. S.....So...sorry to leave you." And He died. My Daniel died. And I was left behind.

Death mocked me.
Daniel's booming voice was forever still. Ne'er again would I hear his explosive laughter nor his whispered, "I love you, Martha." I walked away from the grave of my husband. Seven short years was not enough. Yet, 'twas not just his death that scorned me. I was sick and tired of death!

I saw them! Again and again I saw them, felt them! Spiders! Crawling on me! I slapped at them, but not one fell from my body! Then, I felt hands trying to strangle me. The hands were too strong. I screamed!
Trystaan von Herzogen, the man I learned was the infamous Hessian Horseman came to my aid. The comforting tone of the gutteral German he spoke, the way he held me, only made me whimper. The spiders were gone. Just another nightmare.

I have been very ill with Pneumonia for the past week and am not breathing well even now without coughing up a lung.
My jackass uncle calls me a "Lunger." A term for TB. Sorry for not writing. I lost a lot of weight. I weigh 108 lbs. I was 180.
I lost it fast which was bad for me.
